I applaud the author, Ilana Kaplan, for sharing her personal journey in this recent NY Times article. Ilana's experience through hypnosis is just one of the ways hypnotherapy can significantly alter someone's life to overcome anxiety and insomnia. There is a study cited from Stanford University.
